Rock Hall of Snubs

With the passing of J. (John) Geils yesterday, it got me thinking about the induction ceremony last week and asking why they haven't been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame yet?  They're more rock than Tupac and he was just inducted.  They're more rock than Madonna and she was inducted.  I could go on but my point here is, the Hall needs to address the long list of snubs they've been guilty of for TOO long.  The J. Geils Band was on the ballot this year and it sure would've been nice to see them go in as a living, breathing unit.  There are a lot of bands who, unless the good ole' boys club in Cleveland gets off their high & mighty opinions, will only go in posthumously.

I've gone off on this on the air on my radio job, I've gone off on this on Facebook, but I think there are PLENTY of bands who have been snubbed and should be in the Hall before it's too late. Some should go in LONG before others too.  I don't argue that Pearl Jam belongs in the Hall of Fame but they JUST became eligible.  A lot of bands have been eligible for years and some, decades.

Forgive me if I've overlooked someone obvious.  Unlike the Hall, it's not my intention to snub ANYONE who deserves to be in there.  Here are a FEW oversights, in no particular order.
