The night showcased Erna’s wide range of influences, with covers of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, The Beatles, and more woven into the show. Highlights included a haunting take on Zeppelin’s “No Quarter,” Alice In Chains’ “Man in the Box,” and a high-energy run through The Doobie Brothers’ “Long Train Runnin’.”
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Sully show without some Godsmack sprinkled in — giving fans a taste of both his roots and his inspirations.
The solo gig comes on the heels of big news for Godsmack: longtime drummer Shannon Larkin and guitarist Tony Rombola have officially stepped away from the band. Both members announced they’re retiring from the road to enjoy a quieter, simpler life outside of touring.
With Erna still carrying the torch, it’s clear that while Godsmack is entering a new chapter, the music — and the passion behind it — is far from slowing down.
