GUNS N' ROSES: Bassist Shines a Light Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan is releasing a concert album and film. Lighthouse:

Live From London was captured on October 5th, 2024 at Islington Assembly Hall and features songs from throughout his career, including covers of The Stooges’ "I Wanna Be Your Dog," The Crickets’ (by way of The Bobby Fuller Four and The Clash) "I Fought the Law," GN’Rs’ "You're Crazy," and the the first single, "Longfeather," which is out now along with a video on YouTube. The album features a special appearance by Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones on Johnny Thunders’ "Can't Put Your Arms Around a Memory" and David Bowie’s "Heroes." Lighthouse: Live From London will be released on October 31st in numerous configurations including digital, CD Digipak, CD + Blu-ray Digipak (with live audio and the complete concert film), two vinyl albums, and a limited-edition two-LP set a gatefold sleeve, and a replica ticket signed by McKagan.

BRUCE DICKINSON: Maiden Singer's Impromptu Duet With Busker

If a New Orleans musician thought he was just going to have a typical day busking on a sidewalk, he had another thing coming. Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson, who was in town for a solo gig, heard the busker playing Judas Priest's classic "You've Got Another Thing Comin'" and joined him. Video of the impromptu performance was posted on YouTube.

Bruce Springsteen, Courtney Cox reunite at US Open 41 years after ‘Dancing in the Dark’

Courtney Cox and Bruce Springsteen reunited 41 years after the Friends alum starred as a dancing fan in The Boss' "Dancing in the Dark" video at the 2025 U.S. Open men's singles final. The event was attended by various celebrities, including Mindy Kaling, Jon Hamm, Vanessa Bryant, and Sting. Fans were delighted to witness the reunion between Cox and Springsteen, with actor Ben Stiller also present and visibly excited by the nostalgic moment. Cox reflected on her early career and how the role in the iconic music video helped launch her acting journey.

FOO FIGHTERS: Recording, Rehearsing or Both?

Are the Foo Fighters recording new music or rehearsing for their shows in October and November? Last Thursday, they posted a photo on X showing their legs and feet standing together in a circle with the caption, "Foo Fighters Assemble!!! Sting's Lawyer Claims Former Police Bandmates May Have Been "Substantially Overpaid"

Sting's lawyer is responding to a recent lawsuit filed by his former bandmates in The Police over lost royalties, claiming that they may have actually been "substantially overpaid." In a report by The New York Times, The Police drummer Stewart Copeland and guitarist Andy Summers allege that Sting covers them "arranger's fees" from the "digital exploitation" of the band's back catalog. They estimate they're owed in "excess of two-million dollars." As a response, Sting's lawyers claim that they signed an agreement covering the "arranger's feed" in 2016. They also called Copeland and Summers' lawsuit an "illegitimate" attempt to reinterpret the 2016 agreement

Paul McCartney Has One Word Review For Oasis Concert

Paul McCartney has a one word review for Oasis' Los Angeles concert on Saturday. The singer was captured taking a video of Oasis' Noel Gallagher performing "Little By Little" during the show. After the show he was greeted by paparazzi and a fan, who asked how he liked the show. McCartney simply replied by saying "fabulous" and flashed an "a-okay" hand gesture. Oasis' next reunion tour stop is on September 12th in Mexico City.

IN OTHER NEWS Sammy Hagar has posted a video on Instagram of him practicing guitar and singing “Hound Dog” ahead of his performance on September 19th at the iHEARTRADIO Music Festival in Las Vegas.

Steven Tyler will host another Grammy Awards Viewing Party to benefit his charity, Janie's Fund, which helps young women and girls who have survived abuse. It will be held on February 1st at the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, California.

Def Leppard have posted a video on Instagram of them minus drummer Rick Allen doing an acoustic version of “Pour Some Sugar on Me” in celebration of its release 38 years ago – September 7th, 1987.
