A Classic Rock Thanksgiving Menu

Who says there aren't many songs that relate to Thanksgiving?  I found quite a few...

Over the river and through the woods, with a little metal.

For some, it's easier to go out on Thanksgiving.

Ray, channeling some classic 60s soul on his 2005 Thanksgiving Day EP

Johnny Cash's song from Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman

Not EVERYONE is into Turkey on Thanksgiving.

A bluesy little boogie from ZZ Top's 1999 album XXX, all about biting into a good 'n greasy meal.

Maybe you're flying solo and don't feel like going overboard with a feast?

Some fruit with your meal? One of the more obscure Pink Floyd songs from their early years.

There's always one or two bad apples in teh bunch

I'm not sure whether red wine is the right thing to drink with Turkey or not, but I'm sure there will be some consumed during the day.

A sweet treat for your feast.  Maybe not a traditional one, but tasty

Dessert anyone?

Perhaps some chocolates...

Maybe a more filling dessert? Using a drill always helps...

There must be beverages...

Adam Sandler's Thanksgiving Song from SNL

And the version we probably know better...

Make sure you're polite

Make sure you appreciate your family, friends, and all that you have.

Appreciation is something we need more of.  Not JUST at the holidays, but all year.

Don't forget, we were all little ones once upon a time.  Sometimes, it's nice to revisit those days.
