AC/DC, Aerosmith, Early Floyd and...

AC/DC is a HOT topic at the moment and the news centers around the band being in Vancouver to record with what was reported to be Axl Rose.  But NOW, a photo has surfaced showing Phil Rudd & Brian Johnson at the studio too.  The assumption is that AC/DC is in the midst of making — or at least planning — another album, with Rudd and Johnson both back in the lineup.  Maybe Angus Young may have looked at all the options and decided that this would be the best route to take?  Only time will tell.

I used to watch American Pickers all the time but the formula kinda got to me.  Suffice it to say, this episode piqued my interest and I dove in.  It truly IS a piece of rock'n'roll history from a band creeping up on their 50th anniversary and maybe a tour??

Nick Mason is coming to terms with something that many young, aspiring musicians have learned: MUCH of the Pink Floyd catalog is hard to learn.

Here's one you might remember.  Kane Roberts was probably best known as a (machine gun shaped) guitar player in Alice Cooper's band back in the late 80s but do you remember his radio hit?  He covered Bon Jovi's (unreleased) Does Anybody Really Fall In Love Anymore on his 1991 Saints and Sinners album.  The song had been done by Cher as well, on her 1989 Heart of Stone album.

Vinnie Vincent's Kiss?  Oh, why do I have this strange feeling that this is gonna go over like a fart in church with Gene & Paul.
