Paul McCartney is reportedly out of the hospital. A post on the former Beatle's Japanese tour website says the rock legend was released Monday, and expected to leave Japan on a chartered plane.
The UK's Mirror adds that Sir Paul's destination wasn't publicly known, but he was likely headed to either Britain or the U.S. McCartney has two homes in England as well as a place in The Hamptons.
McCartney was hospitalized with a virus last week after arriving in Japan for a series of concerts. Those dates as well as a show in Seoul -- which was to have been his South Korean concert debut -- have been postponed. Make-good dates haven't been announced yet. Paul is scheduled to launch the U.S. portion of his "Out There" tour in Lubbock, Texas on June 14th -- four days before his 72nd birthday.
